Rick Harrison Is Mourning
Rick Harrison, creator and star of “Pawn Stars,” is mourning the loss of his son, Adam Harrison, who died at 39 from a drug overdose. The Clark County Coroner confirmed the cause as an accidental overdose from a toxic mix of fentanyl and methamphetamine. This tragic event highlights the alarming rise in fentanyl-related deaths, with the CDC reporting 73,654 fatalities in 2022 alone.

Adam, a plumber, was not a regular on the show but worked at the family’s Gold & Silver Pawn shop. In a statement, the Harrison family requested privacy as they grieve. Rick honored Adam on Instagram with a heartfelt message, while Rick’s eldest son, Corey, shared a childhood photo and expressed his love.

Rick emphasized the urgent need to address the fentanyl crisis, calling for collective action to prevent further tragedies. He noted that just 2 milligrams of fentanyl can be fatal, underscoring the drug’s lethal potency. The family’s loss serves as a somber reminder of the devastating impact of the fentanyl crisis.
