Goldie Hawn shared on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast that the rising crime in L.A. has prompted her to consider leaving the city. After enduring two home break-ins in a short time, the actress said the glamor of L.A. no longer appeals to her.
Goldie Hawn revealed that she and Kurt Russell are considering moving, possibly to Palm Desert, which they find safer than L.A., describing the city as “terrible.” She recounted two break-ins at their home, with robbers breaching their property and even rummaging through their rooms. Hawn detailed the incidents, saying, “They knocked down my safe door and took a lot of my valuables.”
Just four months after the first break-in, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell experienced a second robbery, leaving her unable to fully relax and prompting her to consider leaving L.A. for good. Hawn isn’t alone, as in 2024, other high-profile figures like King Bach, Corinna Kopf, Farrah Aldjufrie, and Patrick Patterson also fell victim to burglaries.
