A Farmer Dug A Hole To Find Water, But What Came Up Instead Astound The Whole World
If you see it, you’ll believe it! The “Fly Geyser,” a stunning natural phenomenon in the Nevada desert, looks straight out of a movie. It was created by accident when a ranch owner drilled for water in the early 20th century. After two failed attempts due to the water being too hot, they neglected to seal the hole properly, resulting in an astonishing geyser.
The high-pressure water pushes minerals and gas to form a growing mound, creating an alien-like landscape. The area has developed its own ecosystem, home to small fish and various birds.
Though many have expressed interest in buying the land for tourism, the owners prefer to keep it untouched. The geyser is surrounded by fences, and the landlord provides guided tours, but visitors must contact him in advance, with prices varying for tours.
