At the beginning of the month, Kate Middleton underwent planned abdominal surgery at The London Clinic. The procedure was successful, and she is expected to remain in the hospital for 10 to 14 days before returning home to recover. Prince William has postponed his royal duties to be with Kate during her recovery, visiting her daily.
