Clarkson, who grew up in Texas where spanking is more common, said it didn’t negatively impact her and that she turned out fine. She admitted that her parenting style can be controversial, especially in public, but she believes it works and has used it effectively with her own children, River Rose and Remy. She also warns her kids before disciplining them.
