1-Month-Old Twin Brothers Found Dead Alongside Their Mom As Hurricane Helene Rages
A 27-year-old woman, Kobe Williams, made a final promise to her father to protect her newborn twin sons, Khyzier and Khazmir, during Hurricane Helene. As the storm devastated Georgia, claiming 33 lives, Kobe sought refuge in her home, hoping to stay safe.
Just before the tragedy, she reassured her father that she would follow his advice and take shelter in the bathroom with her babies. However, after their call ended, she did not respond to his attempts to reach her again, raising alarms.
Later, when one of Kobe’s brothers reached her home, he found a large tree had crashed through the roof, killing Kobe and her twins. The impact had crushed them, leaving the family devastated.
“I’ll never get to meet my grandsons. It’s devastating,” Obie Williams lamented. Hurricane Helene had transformed into a powerful storm, causing extensive destruction as it swept through Florida and Georgia.
