There are days when I really tire of my job, waking up dreading another day at the office. Yet, I recognize how fortunate I am not to face physical danger at work.
Many professions are not only mentally challenging but also hazardous. Firefighters, for example, deserve immense credit for their bravery, especially in tough conditions. A recent photo highlights their dedication: after battling a wildfire in Portugal for 24 hours, a group of exhausted firefighters took a brief 25-minute rest on a lawn, covered in smoke.
Firefighters risk their lives to save others, whether fighting house fires or wildfires that devastate landscapes. Their courage is commendable, and they deserve more recognition for their vital role in keeping us safe.
