A newly adopted stray dog saved a newborn baby’s life in the middle of the night.
The Robinson family, excited about their new home and growing family, decided to adopt a pit bull named Benson from a shelter. After a difficult past, Benson was initially timid but quickly bonded with the family’s 6-year-old son, Mathias.
When their newborn daughter arrived, Benson showed nothing but love. However, one night, the family heard unusual barking from the baby’s room. Fearing the worst, they rushed in, only to discover that Benson was trying to alert them. He had sensed that the baby had stopped breathing. Thanks to his intervention, they rushed her to the hospital just in time, saving her life.
