Grandma’s final photo of granddaughter minutes before she’s killed

A woman shared a heartbreaking photo of her granddaughter, Scarlett Jensen, taken just before her tragic death in a hit-and-run on October 7, 2022. Scarlett, along with her younger brother Henry, was being cared for by her grandmother in Oldtown, Idaho, while her parents were away.

While out for a walk on the family driveway, a speeding Chevy Tahoe struck them. Scarlett was killed instantly, and her grandmother and Henry were critically injured. The driver fled but was later arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison.

Scarlett’s mother, Samantha Jensen, discovered the photo of her daughter taken just moments before the accident. It showed Scarlett picking flowers with her grandmother, capturing a peaceful moment before the tragedy. Although the loss is overwhelming, Samantha finds solace in the photo, as it represents Scarlett’s joyful, carefree spirit.

The family continues to heal through therapy and faith, with Samantha expressing gratitude for the photo that captures her daughter’s beauty and innocence.
