A homeless couple gets criticized for saying they don’t want to work.

A homeless couple, Leland Brown Jr. and Breanna from Hatfield, Pennsylvania, have sparked debate after sharing their perspective on living in a tent. In a TikTok video to their 178,000 followers, they explained why they prefer the term “houseless” over “homeless,” calling their lifestyle “cool” and highlighting the skills they’ve gained from it.

While some support their choice for the freedom it represents, others question their decision. The couple started a GoFundMe campaign to fund their lifestyle and spend more time with Leland’s son, but they’ve raised only $162 of their $10,000 goal.

Though Leland previously had jobs and a house, they now claim they don’t want regular employment, saying they’re too smart to rush into work. Some critics believe they are avoiding responsibility rather than making a deliberate choice to live this way. What’s your take? Share your thoughts in the comments.
