The one detail during Kate Middleton’s hospital visit everyone missed, and we’re lost for words

This month, both King Charles and Kate, the Princess of Wales, have been hospitalized in London for health issues, marking the royal family’s worst health crisis in years. However, what’s raising eyebrows is the absence of their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—who haven’t visited their mother during her 12-day stay for abdominal surgery.

While Prince William has been visiting Kate daily, the children and even Kate’s close family, including her parents and siblings, have stayed away. The media has agreed to respect privacy, meaning the family could easily visit without media intrusion.

One possible reason for the children’s absence is that William and Kate wanted to make Kate’s absence feel as normal as possible for the kids, as reported by the Sun. Yet, even after the weekend, the children stayed at their grandparents’ home, despite the hospital being just a short drive away.

This is curious, especially since the Waleses are often praised for their hands-on, family-first approach. William and Kate prioritize family time, often taking 19 weeks off a year to bond with their children. So, why not make time for Kate’s recovery?

While it’s understandable that children may find hospital visits unsettling, it seems strange that they’ve been kept away from their mother, especially given the family’s reputation for close-knit parenting. Some royal experts suggest that royals rarely visit each other in the hospital, which may explain the distance, but this still raises questions.
