My Best Friend Tried to Kiss My Fiancé—Should I Confront Her or Walk Away?
I’m in a tough situation with my best friend, Rachel, and my fiancé, Tom. We’ve been close for 20 years, but recently Tom told me that Rachel tried to kiss him while I was asleep. He said it was a mistake, and she blamed it on alcohol. Now I feel deeply betrayed, but I’m torn about confronting Rachel.
If I ask her about it and she admits it was intentional, I might not be able to forgive her. If she denies it, I’ll still worry about what really happened. Rachel has been acting oddly since the incident, and neither she nor Tom has mentioned it.
I’m stressed with wedding planning and can’t imagine going through it without Rachel, but I can’t shake the feeling that I need to address this issue. Should I confront her or try to move on for the sake of our friendship and my relationship?
