Story of the human Barbie Jessica Alves
While many consider plastic surgery for various reasons, Jessica Alves—formerly Rodrigo Alves—took it to an extreme, transforming herself into a human Barbie doll.
In early 2020, Jessica came out as transgender, stating, “I’m known as Ken but inside I’ve always felt like Barbie.” She began her transition by receiving hormone injections, adopting a feminine appearance with blonde hair extensions and a D-cup bra. Embracing her identity, she changed her name to Jessica.
Born on July 30, 1983, in São Paulo, Brazil, Jessica had a childhood filled with feminine expression, playing with dolls and wearing her mother’s clothes. However, she struggled with her appearance, particularly her nose, which led her to seek plastic surgery for the first time in 2004. This marked the beginning of her journey and a growing addiction to altering her looks.
Jessica has since appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, released a song called “Plastic World,” and gained over a million Instagram followers. Despite her surgeries, she has expressed that she is still not fully satisfied with her appearance, highlighting the complex nature of self-acceptance and beauty.
