Nathan Schaldach, known as Cali Nate from the Discovery series Street Outlaws, tragically passed away in a vehicle crash while racing in Eagle Pass, Texas, on Saturday night. His girlfriend, Courtney Paulshock, confirmed the news in a heartfelt Facebook post, expressing her shock and heartbreak.
Despite friends rushing him to the hospital, they were unable to save him. Paulshock shared that Schaldach found joy in reconnecting with his family shortly before the incident. He was a beloved figure in the drag racing community, having appeared in the fourth season of Street Outlaws: Fastest in America.
His passing follows another tragedy from the show in 2022, when Ryan Fellows died in a car accident. Friends and fans expressed their condolences online, with one friend, Chris Frank, highlighting Schaldach’s genuine love for racing. In her emotional tribute, Paulshock vowed to love him forever and shared the poignant song “I’ll Never Love Again” by Lady Gaga.
