8-Year-Old Paints A Masterful Portrait Of Jesus, Claiming To Have Seen His True Face
Akiane Kramarik’s painting “Prince of Peace,” created when she was just 8, was recently rediscovered after being stolen, mistakenly sold, and hidden for 16 years. Now 28, Akiane, a best-selling author and philanthropist, painted this piece after experiencing a “visionary inspiration” from God. Raised in a non-religious household in Idaho, her sudden spiritual awakening surprised her family.
The inspiration for “Prince of Peace” came from a vision of a carpenter. After praying, a man resembling Jesus appeared at their door, which Akiane recognized as her model. Following years of legal battles, she recovered the painting, which is now displayed at the Belóved Gallery in Marble Falls, Texas. Reflecting on its return, Akiane remarked, “It’s still surreal to me… Love is incredibly potent.”
