Did Santa get you that?

A police officer on horseback spots a little girl riding her bike without a reflector light and decides to engage with her. He approaches her with a friendly smile and asks, “Did Santa get you that bike?” The little girl beams with pride and replies, “Yes, he did!”

The officer, wanting to impart a lesson about safety, playfully responds, “Well, tell Santa to put a reflector light on it next year!” He then hands her a $5 ticket for not having the proper safety equipment.

The little girl looks up at the cop, unfazed, and notices his majestic horse. With a mischievous grin, she says, “Nice horse you’ve got there! Did Santa bring you that?” The officer chuckles, clearly amused by her cheekiness, and replies, “He sure did!”

Without missing a beat, the little girl shoots back, “Well, next year, tell Santa that the d*ck goes under the horse, not on top of it!”

The officer, taken aback for a moment, can’t help but burst into laughter at the unexpected and clever comeback from the young girl. It’s a humorous exchange that highlights the innocence of childhood and the playful banter that can occur even in serious situations. The interaction leaves a lasting impression on the officer, reminding him that sometimes, the most profound lessons come from the unlikeliest of places.

In that brief moment, the little girl not only holds her own against authority but also demonstrates a quick wit that belies her age, leaving both the officer and any onlookers with a memorable story to share. The encounter reinforces the idea that humor can bridge gaps and bring lightness to even the most mundane of situations.
