Mark Wahlberg discusses the significance of him not “denying” his faith

In a conversation with co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, 51-year-old Mark Wahlberg discussed his approach to sharing his faith, emphasizing balance. He stated, “I don’t want to force my faith on anyone, yet I cannot hide my beliefs.” Wahlberg, who has four children with his wife Rhea Durham, practices a “share-but-don’t-push” mentality, hoping his children will naturally gravitate toward his faith by observing his routines, such as praying and attending Mass.

He spoke about Lent and fasting, highlighting its significance and the importance of focusing on positive habits rather than negative ones. Wahlberg, a guest narrator and ambassador for the Catholic prayer app Hallow, believes that discipline gained through fasting and prayer can lead to personal growth. He summarized his beliefs by stating, “It’s everything,” noting that his faith has transformed him into a better version of himself.
